Last weekend our senior netball team had an awesome day at the Upper Hutt Netball Tournament, with 3 wins and one draw to make the final! They had a hard fought final and finished as runners up for the Year 5 grade. Everyone is so proud of these girls!
NETBALL UNIFORMS
We would like to thank Stokes Valley New World for generously providing the funding for the new netball uniforms we needed for our teams. These have been added to the uniforms we already have and look great.
BASKETBALL AND NETBALL LINE PAINTING
With the weather now more settled and the ground dry, we have managed to get new line painting done on the basketball and netball courts. We took the opportunity to get padder tennis courts drawn up as well. This will make playing games on the courts a lot easier now we can see the outline of the courts.
Junior netball tournament
In July our Year 3/4 netball team played in the Upper Hutt junior netball tournament and won their grade.
The team worked really well together and were delighted with their results, especially as they had lost to two of the teams earlier in the season.
It is great to see how they are improving as the season progresses.
