8 students were selected to represent Kōraunui School at this year’s STEMM Student Challenge for Years 5 and 6 on Tuesday 29th July.
The STEMM Student Challenge combines fun and learning with an element of competition. School teams of 4 students compete in a quiz testing their knowledge and understanding in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, & manufacturing) subjects - practical rounds included.
This was a great chance for them to work alongside others aspiring towards a common goal. The teamwork shown by our two teams was fantastic as was their self-management skills and kindness towards other groups. I was incredibly proud to be supporting them.
